Conference Venue

The 2024 Conference will be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC), a leading event venue in Australia, known for its advanced facilities in Melbourne’s dynamic South Wharf area.

Day 1: AFLOAT

AFLOAT is a floating restaurant and bar that pops up on the Yarra River (Birrarung) every spring, for summer.

Day 2: THE LUME Melbourne

THE LUME is an immersive digital art gallery in Melbourne, that offers a unique dining experience surrounded by captivating visual and sensory displays.

Accommodation Options

Accommodation will be split between four hotels for this years Conference. All hotels are within walking distance of the Conference and offer equally high standards of facilities.  Accommodation preference can be selected at time of registration but please note this is not guaranteed until you receive your final details email 2 weeks prior to the Conference. If you are extending your accommodation, please contact UEM to confirm with them your required hotel.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can I bring my partner/spouse?

Yes, they can join you and attend our evening events and share your room via a spouse dinner ticket option. Please note there are only 50 tickets available in this category, so get in fast to make sure your partner can attend.

Can I bring my children?

Yes, though please note there may be additional charges to upgrade your room to accommodate them. Please let our team know when you’re purchasing your tickets if there are children attending too. Please note children are not able to attend the conference or dinners at the conference.

Please note there is very limited availability for family rooms due to accommodation availability and there will be additional cost to book these rooms.

Can I extend my stay?

If you require additional accommodation for family members during the Conference, would like to extend your stay pre or post the Conference or arrange breakfast for yourself and your family, from the hotel preference you provided during registration please contact the relevant hotel to make these arrangements directly by checking availability and confirming rates via the email address below. Please copy in enquiries@urbaneventmanagement.com.au when contacting the hotel.

This will ensure your conference and extension accommodation are at the same hotel and that you will remain in the same room for the duration of your stay when we allocate rooms.

What’s the dress code?

Smart casual for the daytime Conference sessions. Dress code and theming for the cocktail welcome function and gala dinner will be confirmed in a separate email.

Can I cancel my ticket?

Should your circumstances change, and you are unable to attend, you must request a refund no later than forty 40 days prior (Friday 30 August) to the commencement of the Event if you have selected an accommodation ticket (this includes a Lender Partner ticket) and no later than thirty 30 days prior (Monday 9 September) if you have selected a non-accommodation ticket (this includes a Spouse/Partner Ticket).

Can I stay somewhere else?

Yes, we have non-accommodation tickets available.

Will I be sharing a room with someone else?

No. Every delegate will have their own room unless you choose to bring a partner or spouse.

Can I share a room with another delegate?

If you would like to share a room with another delegate, please purchase a non-accommodation ticket along with a full broker ticket and note this in your registration.

How will I know which hotel I will be staying in?

You will receive your accommodation details 2 weeks prior to the conference along with all other details you may need.

Will transfers be organised?

No, you will need to arrange your own transport form the airport to the hotel.
