Our staff are the heart of everything we do, and our annual Staff Conference is dedicated to celebrating that spirit.

It’s a chance for us all to come together, reconnect, and reflect on the incredible contributions each of you makes to our success. As we continue to grow and evolve as a business, our staff conference serves as an important moment to honour each of you who make it all possible.

We’ll share our achievements, look ahead to the future, and importantly, recognise and celebrate the outstanding efforts of our top performers over the past year. We look forward to celebrating with you!

The District Docklands has enough car park access for all. We recommend parking in the West Car Park, opposite O’Brien Group Arena at 88 Pearl River Road, Docklands, via Docklands Drive or Footscray Road, Docklands.

What do I wear?

Day 1: Smart casual

Where do I get ready?

We've got you covered when it comes to getting ready for the amazing dinner celebration. Here are some informal options for freshening up:  

At the Connective Office: Our office has awesome end-of-trip facilities through the Charli App (please ensure you have access arranged prior through Julie Andersson).  You can leave your belongings in the Office or minimal storage is available at Metropolis. Please see the events team on arrival.

If you live near the city or have friends nearby, take advantage of their changing facilities.  

If you're traveling from another state, get yourself dolled up in the comfort of your hotel room.

Is this event compulsory?

Attending both day events, in their entirety, is compulsory unless previously discussed with your manager. Please let the Connective Events team know if you cannot attend by emailing events@connective.com.au

If you can only attend the day sessions and will be missing our Celebration Dinner, please also let the events team know at events@connective.com.au

Where do I park if I am driving in? 

For the Conference (Thursday day), recommended parking can be found here.  

For the Awards dinner (Thursday night), recommended parking can be found here.  

For Archie Brothers (Friday day), recommended parking can be found here.

Where can I stay in Melbourne?

Connective has a wonderful corporate rate at the Hotel Indigo, which is close to the office. Staff are welcome to book at their own cost ($230 prpn, not including breakfast. If you want breakfast, this is an additional cost of $35).

If you are interested, please contact Julie Andersson (julie@connective.com.au) before COB Monday, 30 June, as bookings are limited, and specify whether you want room only or to include breakfast in your booking.  The hotel will contact you directly for payment via your Connective email, and bookings will not be finalised until this is concluded.

Will I be receiving a cab charge?

Melbourne Staff

For any Melbourne staff that do not have a company credit card, can you please let Julie know the following information in the form link here by COB Wednesday 23 July. Staff that do not respond by this deadline will miss out on Cabcharge option.

When completing the form, please consider the approximate cost carefully for the venue-home trip (ie. $50, $100. $150, etc) as we don't want you to be out of pocket!  Consider the maximum option.

Ensure the mobile number you add in the form will be the number you use on the evening of the event.

This will be the number that the Cabcharge will be sent to via SMS. Please double-check you've added the correct number!


Please note that these cab charges will have an expiry date and are only to be used to get you safely home on the evening of 31 July or/morning of 1 August, not to the venue. Cab charges are not to be used for late in the following day (i.e., Friday afternoon after Archie Brothers), and staff who deviate from these instructions will be asked to reimburse the company.

Interstate Staff

For any interstate staff who do not have a company credit card, can you please let Julie know the following information in the form link here by COB Wednesday, 23 July. Staff who do not respond by this deadline will miss out on the Cab charge option.

When completing the form, please consider the approximate cost carefully for the venue-home trip-airport-home- trip (ie. $50, $100. $150, etc) as we don't want you to be out of pocket! Consider the maximum option. When completing the forms, consider when you'll require a cab charge ie for airport/office/airport as well (this may be 2x $100).

You'll need to include the date of return in the forms. Ensure the mobile number you add in the form will be the number you use on the evening of the event.

This will be the number that the Cabcharge will be sent to via SMS. Please double-check you've added the correct number!

Where do I store my luggage on the second day?

There will be a room for storing your luggage at Archie Brothers.
